Pedal 4 Palestine is a flagship Cycling challenge from Global Ehsan Relief UK. In it’s first year, participants from across the UK will be taking part in a 4 day long marathon from Makkah to Madinah, covering a phenomenal distance of over 550 kilometers between two of Islam's holiest of cities.
The journey symbolises the migration that Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took as he fled persecution in Makkah and travelled to Madinah for safety. The Annual Hijrah Ride supports Palestinian orphan children facing mental health challenges, war, and poverty, providing them with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to perform Umrah!
Join us for a unique challenge that combines physical endurance with a profound cultural experience. Cycle through the breath-taking dunes of Saudi Arabia and visit the two holiest cities in Islam, immersing yourself in the rich history of The Hijrah.

For many of us, performing Umrah to Makkah, is a sacred spiritual journey, a deeply personal and fulfilling experience.
Our Umrah for Orphans is a very special programme with the aim of sponsoring Palestinian orphans from Jordan on a blessed journey to Makkah & Madinah to perform Umrah. For each Palestinian orphan that we bring to Umrah, it will be an amazing journey to connect with their faith and a realisation of their dreams to visit the holy lands.
Umrah is a life-changing experience for anyone, more so for these orphans. It will help to strengthen their faith and help them see that they are part of a global family. It is a form of mental and spiritual healing from the psychological trauma they have had to experience at such a young age. For our orphans, it would be the first time they venture to another country. This Umrah journey could be one trip that will change their lives forever.
