Pedal 4 Orphans is a cycling challenge from Global Ehsan Relief UK, were participants from across the UK take part in a 4 day long cycling marathon from Makkah to Madinah, covering a phenomenal distance of over 550km between two of Islam's holiest of cities.
The Pedal 4 Orphans challenge directly supports the "Umrah for Orphans" initiative. Every participant’s fundraising efforts contribute to sponsoring orphans for this life-changing pilgrimage. Each £3,000 raised helps provide travel, accommodation, meals, and spiritual guidance for five orphans to perform Umrah. Through this collaboration, cyclists not only achieve personal milestones but also profoundly impact the lives of orphans by offering them hope and renewal.

Our Umrah for Orphans campaign is a very special programme with the aim of sponsoring Palestinian orphans from Jordan on a blessed journey to Makkah & Madinah to perform Umrah. For each Palestinian orphan that we bring to Umrah, it will be an amazing journey to connect with their faith and a realisation of their dreams to visit the holy lands.

It is a form of mental and spiritual healing from the psychological trauma they have had to experience at such a young age.
